The National Hellenic Student Association (NHSA) of America partners with The Hellenic Voice newspaper- the largest and most widely accepted English language weekly dedicated to the Greek American community- to support the launch of a new career site GREEK AMERICAN CAREER CENTER, which features targeted job listings, a resume database, and the ability for employers to showcase their company via company profiles. This new initiative is designed to facilitate the connection between qualified Greek Americans who are seeking employment opportunities with Greek owned or operated companies looking to fill available job openings.

Job seekers will be able to search custom and viable job categories for openings in their field of interest. In addition to the exposure that people looking for a job will gain from being a member of this site there are many tools and guides to help people in the job market.  Features include:

  • Search Jobs – database of thousands of job openings from the our community and the National Network powered by our technology partner Adicio.
  • Post Resume – use our resume upload tool or create your resume online.
  • Cover Letters – store multiple versions of cover letters for easy use.
  • Career News – stay on top of industry news and opinions about the job market.
  • Salary Research – information to stay informed of salary expectations.
  • Career Resources – resume writing and interview tips to help you land the job.

The new career site has developed partnerships with organizations like the National Hellenic Students Association (NHSA) of America to coordinate outreach to Greek American students and recent graduates who are entering the job market. NHSA will promote the site for providing jobseeker tools, career advice and networking opportunities to their rigid base of member-chapters in universities, including some of America’s most prestigious institutions.

By endorsing the GREEK AMERICAN CAREER CENTER, the NHSA expands its reach and vision by promoting a mutual support network of Hellenism beyond the academic community and student life. The NHSA is a dedicated youth leadership development organization and now will be able to give the opportunity to students to participate in internships, find quality jobs in order to gain a leading professional experience for a successful career.
